Dr Uka specialises in non-surgical cosmetic procedures and holds private clinics at Skin Deep. Dr Uka qualified at St Mary's Hospital Medical School in London in 1994. After training to become a GP, she developed her interests in Dermatology and skincare, and went on to specialise in this field, treating a wide spectrum of skin complaints including Eczema, Acne and psoriasis, as well as offering advice on general skin health and non-surgical procedures to remedy cosmetic concerns.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections (Bo-tox): £250 (1-2 areas); £300 (3 areas)

Used to treat stubborn facial lines and wrinkles, Bo-tox temporarily smoothes lines created by muscle over-activity. This treatment is particularly effective when used to treat lines on the forehead, around the lips and crow’s feet around the eyes. The overall effect is a smoother, more rejuvenated appearance. On average, results last for up to four months.

Dermal Fillers: £300 per vial; £320 per vial for lips; £350 per vial for cheek contouring

Derived from a naturally occurring substance, dermal fillers plump, smooth and firm the skin. Dermal fillers can be used to add definition and plumpness to the lips and cheeks, as well as reducing wrinkles around the lips, nose, mouth and across the forehead. The effects can last up to nine months.

Profhilo, Sunekos (rehydrates and revitalises the skin): £200 per vial

These anti-ageing treatments are used to revitalise larger areas, such as the neck, décolletage, hands and face. When injected into the skin, Profhilo replenishes the skin’s supplies of hyaluronic acid leaving a hydrated layer leaving the skin feeling smoother and better hydrated. Sunekos working deep down to support the skin and stimulate the production of collagen, improving the skin’s elasticity and tone. The effects can last up to six months. A course is required and involves 3-5 treatments at fortnightly intervals.

Skin Needling: £250 per session

This treatment is used to treat poor skin texture caused by acne scarring, stretch-marks sun damage and ageing. The micro-medical needle treatment stimulates the skin’s production of collagen and elastin, increasing blood supply to the affected area, promoting the skin’s natural healing process. The result is a smoother, brighter and more even complexion with noticeably reduced scars and blemishes. Effects are visible after six weeks. A course of three treatments, six weeks apart, is recommended.

Medical Grade Skin Peel: £150 per peel

This peel is great if you have uneven pigmentation, Acne or fine wrinkles. The top layers of the skin can appear thick and dull; this treatment removes the superficial layers of the skin to treat signs of ageing, acne and hyper pigmentation. It is also effective at reducing the appearance of sun damage. After the recommended course of 3-4 treatments, skin is brighter, fine lines are removed and pigmentation is minimised. Results are visible after two weeks.

PRP (Vampire Treatment) £250.00

A favourite treatment to give the skin a healthy glow, improve tone and fine lines. Your own platelet rick plasma is injected back into the skin via tiny injections. This stimulates skin turnover.
